The colour is beautiful and it arrived quickly. The fit is good. The three stars are because it came out of the packaging very wrinkled and the zipper is so sticky it’s a bit frustrating.
This raincoat is thoughtfully designed with magnetic buttons and a sealed zipper. It really held up during my spring trip to the UK, including our time on the Isles of Scilly off the coast of Cornwall. It was roomy enough to layer sweaters, the hood provided good coverage, the pockets were large enough to store a water bottle, and the little handwarmers at the ends of the sleeves were helpful in the heavy winds we experienced on the island.
I'm a teacher and got it for outside duty, as it always seems to rain when I have it. It is great in the rain, fit well comfy, was dry for the day afterward, great quality, lots of compliments and one woman stopped me on the street and surprised me when she asked " Is that a Mernini?" I said yes! She said she has thought about it and had in her cart but did not get. Now said she would after inspecting mine!
One thing, I did not purchase the vest liner, as I felt I might be too warm, but on the eastcoast...on the Bay, I think I will get it too for windy wet days.

I love the coat and the liner. It warmed up here a bit yesterday and was pouring rain so I got to wear both. They were great. My only surprise when I received them is that although they are designed in Canada they are both made in China
I bought one of these for my wife years ago and she loved it. When a couple of small issues appeared after years of use, I reached out to Mernini inquiring about getting a repair done. Instead, they replaced it right away with no hassle at all. I was honestly blown away. Incredible customer service—five stars isn’t enough!
Wonderful raincoat! My wife just loves it! Lots of thought into the details like the cuffs and the magnetic closures. My only issue was that the the colour was noticeably darker than the website, coming in at almost brown instead of the bright rust I was expecting. Otherwise, A1!
Bought the coat for my daughter. She loves it. She will use it when it’s warmer and goes to watch her son playing soccer or baseball. She will also use it walking with the dog.
We recommend you size according to the nearest bust measurement. This measurement is the most important as our fabric is not stretchable and should fit comfortably around the chest area.

Why is the two-way front zipper important?
The 2-way zipper is especially important for long coats and is designed to be used when you are bending over or sitting down. During these actions the fabric may pull tight and possibly tear at the area where the zipper begins. Remember to use the bottom zipper to alleviate stress in that area.
