Just hit my Mernini raincoat in peony blue medium petite. Love the fit.
I had a 10 day girls trip to London planned and was warned to bring a raincoat. My mernini arrived 3 hrs before I left for the airport and it was perfect. It’s windproof, waterproof , zippered pockets and has a shape to it. Love the color, couldn’t be better !

Beautifully made with quality fabric and hardware. Love the easy close magnetic snaps and the two-way zip for ease of sitting and driving. Well worth the price and the it fit is spot on too!

Love my new Mernini raincoat. It is everything I was looking for - longer length to keep me dry, hood with drawstrings to keep out the rain, love the magnetic closures, seems very waterproof (although I have yet to test it out), plenty of room underneath for a bulky sweater or two, and I like the style of it too. I ordered size small in the petite, and it is a perfect fit - ends about 3 inches past my knees, and I am 5 foot 2 inches, 125 pounds. All in all, a great purchase, and I can't wait until it's raining again! (I live in Vancouver, so it won't be long - ha ha)
Best rain coat ever.
I absolutely love the jacket. I bought a size that would accommodate both the liner and a sweatshirt underneath. My only personal preference would be to suggest the draw string for the hood be black and not white. It rains all year round where I live and white is harder to keep clean. I also bought a rain hat and I LOVE that as well.

Such a well designed raincoat. Had to wait for our 1st downpour on the West coast for a true test. Fits generously so will be great for layering. The petite is a perfect length for me - 5’4”. Love the magnetic closures, the deep pockets , the cuffs, the hood , the fabric - in other words everything!! Hopefully it will stand up come winter.
This is a beautiful coat - who thought beautiful and raincoat would ever be in the same sentence? The peony blue is a gorgeous colour. The lining, zipper tuck, double seams, attention to detail, etc. are all very well done. I was very disappointed to have to return the coat. I'm just under 5' and weigh 100 pounds. It was a bit too big on me and too long. I would have kept it - because I wanted to, if either the length or width had been different, but the two combined made me disappear in it. I will keep on checking the website for other products - a quality item is hard to find these days. PS I found the "fish smell" disappeared entirely have the coat was hung up for a few days.
I love my Mernini!! The color is rich and the petite is the perfect length on my 5’3” frame. The hood is full coverage which is essential in NLs harsh wind and rain. I also have the liner, which I highly recommend in fall weather. Thank you for the great customer service!

Why is the two-way front zipper important?
The 2-way zipper is especially important for long coats and is designed to be used when you are bending over or sitting down. During these actions the fabric may pull tight and possibly tear at the area where the zipper begins. Remember to use the bottom zipper to alleviate stress in that area.
